Worship on the Move

Just for one Sunday, August 25th, First Lutheran’s worship service is moving to a different location and time.   We will join in praising God with our sisters and brothers in Christ at 9:30 am at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 160 Central Avenue, Albany NY.  Worship will take place outside in the Courtyard off Central Avenue, weather permitting.  If it is raining, just walk through the courtyard to the double glass doors to get to the rain location, the Fellowship Hall.

Pastor Allie will be preaching at this 9:30 am service as well as at worship at St. John’s chapel 5 pm Saturday August 24th.  St John’s has good [free] off-street parking at the lot just west of the church on Central or at the lot east of the church, closer to the corner of Lexington and Central.  A fellowship time with drinks and snack will follow worship.

First Lutheran’s regular summer worship schedule and locations will resume for its last hurrah on Sunday, September 1st:  9:30 Outdoors & 10 am in the Sanctuary.  The following Sunday, September 8th will be our Rally Day Worship at 10 am, with Adult Class & choir at 9 am and Kid’s Sunday School at 10:45 am.
